An abortion-bound young woman came on December 6 to the AWHC abortuary with plans of aborting her child, until she talked with Lisa, one of the sidewalk counselors! While Lisa was standing at the driveway reaching out to the women with offers of help, she was also praying and singing worship songs, for the praises of HIS people scatter the enemy. This is when the young Spanish-speaking mom came walking down the sidewalk to AWHC.
Lisa reached out to her, but then realized she didn’t understand English, so she went to Google Translate, and began a conversation with her! Lisa was able to pray with this young lady. Eventually she walked her next door to the pregnancy help center. Thank the Lord!
When the mother came out, two of the other sidewalk counselors were able to speak with her. They asked for her phone number to stay in touch. She was also given baby mittens for her 5 week-old baby in the womb, whom she has chosen life for now instead of abortion! Praise be to the Lord God Almighty!
Plans have already been made to take this mom out to lunch, and to have a baby shower for her! If you live in central Florida and would like to attend this shower, just let us know! Thank God Lisa was out that day, standing at the driveway, for God used her to rescue this precious child from a gruesome death. Instead, this baby is tucked safely in his/her mom’s womb.
