Second story, July 31, 2025
I am amazed at what the Lord has allowed me to witness this week! I was on the sidewalk outside PP in St. Paul with Kathleen and several prayer supporters. We did not get out much literature, but we called out to all the moms to look at their ultrasounds. Towards the end of our shift, a car drove out.
There was just one woman in the car and she rolled down her window after I waved at her. I told her that usually by the time women know they’re pregnant and come to PP that baby already has a heartbeat and if she took the abortion pill, Abria which was across the street, could help her try to reverse it.
I asked her if she was pregnant and she said yes, and that she was keeping her baby! I congratulated her and asked her how far along she was, and she said she was four months pregnant. I asked her what made her change her mind, and she said it was seeing her ultrasound. She had not gotten any literature from us before going in, but I asked her if it helped that we were out there for her to make her decision and she said yes.
I gave her all our literature and told her again about Abria. The PP escorts came out and told her she was blocking the driveway. I was able to get her name and phone number before she left. As she was pulling away I told her again congratulations and that we would be praying for her. We then paused and prayed for her as she drove off. I texted her that we were praying for her and that I would like to meet her for breakfast or lunch. She thanked me. I asked her if she had heard us on the sidewalk telling her to look at her ultrasound. I don’t think she understood the question, and instead sent me the picture of her ultrasound! Praise the Lord!
