It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the passing away of our dear friend and fellow warrior for life, Judy Madsen Johnson.

Judy left an impact on so many people, as she was one of the most compassionate, loving, kind, and caring women we have ever had the privilege of knowing for so many years.

She also had strong Biblical convictions, which she lived out in her daily life.  Even to the end with her illness with pancreatic cancer, she was still concerned about others — her husband, family, friends, and the plight of the unborn.

Her tenacity was uncanny, and what she set her mind to do, she did! One of her many passions, and this was extremely strong, was to see the rights of the unborn protected, and to work hard for their rights to be restored.   Her resolve was strong, speaking up and intervening on behalf of those who have NO voice for close to 40 years!

She rescued innocent children being led to the slaughter, wrote books, spoke at many gatherings, was a petitioner in the 1994 Supreme Court case Madsen v. Women’s Health Care, Inc. (challenging the constitutionality of an injunction), co-founded (with me) The True Majority: Women Speaking for Women,  and sidewalk counseled in front of abortuaries for more than 30 years.

The Lord only knows how many people are alive today because of Judy’s efforts! So many babies were saved because of her love for the least of these, and mainly due to the love she had for her Savior, which led her to take part in selfless acts such as laying her life down for the unborn.

Judy was directly responsible for our opening a branch office in Central Florida in 2001, inviting Pro-Life Action Ministries to organize our life-saving efforts there.

We honor this amazing and incredible woman. Although we will miss Judy dearly, along with so many others, we thank God that she is no longer in any pain, and is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she loved with all her heart, mind, and soul.

“Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”  I Corinthians 15:58
