In 1992, Pro-Life Action Ministries entered into an agreement with the owner of this house to lease the parking lot so that pro-life supporters would have a place to pray that was safe from the injunction of a Hennepin County judge. In 1998, the property was purchased by Pro-Life Action Ministries, allowing for a continuation of prayer and counseling next to the abortion clinic in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

We are grateful to have this house of perpetual adoration as a place of prayer for an end to abortion. It is our goal to have two adorers each hour of the day, seven days a week. In October 2006, Archbishop Harry Flynn of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis granted Pro-Life Action Ministries written permission to reserve the Eucharist inside its property at 3821 West Broadway. Recognizing the need to completely renovate the property to be a fitting place for reserving the Eucharist, plans were drawn up and construction began in July 2007. In February 2008, Archbishop Flynn presided at a Mass dedicating the property and he placed the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle for the first time.

The rosary has been prayed here almost every Saturday morning since the initial lease agreement.

The abortion clinic can be seen through the window of the tabernacle room.

Icons of Saints Peter and Paul guard the archway to the tabernacle room.

Your Involvement

Group Visits

The Chapel of the Innocents is available by appointment for Confirmation classes, Knights of Columbus councils, ACCW groups, and other Catholic groups for prayer, Mass, or a better understanding of the sanctity of human life.

Many Catholics are needed to take a holy hour of prayer, adoring Jesus in the Eucharist as He resides within the Chapel of Innocents. If you are interested in committing an hour of adoration prayer or would like to learn more, please contact James Hentges.

Your generous donations will keep this adoration chapel open and operating. Furnishings and other materials needed to complete the vision for this property still need to be purchased.

Volunteers are needed for weekly cleaning, lawn care, snow removal and other maintenance to keep this house of prayer a beautiful place for our Lord. Contact James Hentges to help.
